NYE Melbourne 2013
In collaboration with WalkerAbercrombie, Angela Bailey and Mono Design we created the screen content for Melbourne New Years Eve 2013-14. The 4 hour long presentation consisted of graphic elements, time lapse footage of events held in Melbourne during 2013, individuals and groups of people holding numbers to form the base of the countdown. The footage and images of the events captured life in the city of Melbourne for 2013. Specialised colour treatments were used to enhance the time lapses of the cityscape and many of the events. Many people and organisations were involved in that process throughout the year which lead to more engagement and participation on the night. Thousands of people saw it on big screens at several sites around the city, the countdown was broadcast live internationally.
