LEAP – Grit

Grit theatre project has run for the full duration of the LEAP project and has focused on ensuring locally devised theatre is supported and used a mechanism to share stories that are often not shared. The project has made 4 pieces of new locally devised theatre-Everyday, Hurt, Take my hand, On for young and old. The project has invested in local theatre directors and engaged mostly young people as performers and writers. Capacity has been developed amongst the youth and community sector through this project with greater links made between Ballarat and Melbourne based youth theatre companies.
